Polaria Oy is participating in the project for the fifth Icon Class cruise ship being built at the Meyer Turku shipyard. Under an agreement with cabin manufacturer Piikkio Works Oy, Polaria will supply bathroom furniture for the ship’s crew cabins.
The fifth Icon Class cruise ship for Royal Caribbean is part of a series of some of the world’s largest and most technologically advanced passenger ships. Built at the Meyer Turku shipyard, the vessels are major projects for the Finnish maritime industry, involving an extensive network of Finnish companies.
