We have been working for more than half a century for a functional and sustainable everyday life. Our purposeful work has always been to look ahead, set goals and enable development. We are committed to promoting and implementing the principles of sustainable development in our operations. Today and tomorrow.

The UN has defined 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In Polaria’s operations, we particularly emphasize:

SDG 8 – Promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.
SDG 9 – Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation.
SDG 12 – Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.

We are a significant employer in Mäntyharju, with a dedicated workforce that finds their work meaningful. A well-being staff is a key factor for our operations and sustainable growth.

We participate in the development of the local community and invest in sustainable products. We prefer local production and environmentally friendly raw materials in our procurement, reduce emissions, and promote recycling. We continuously strive to enhance sustainability throughout our entire value chain.
